Vista Corroshield C 99
Vista Corroshield C-99 is a liquid concrete admixture for protection of steel bar / rod in reinforced concrete construction (RCC) for an extended service life. Vista Corroshield C-99 contains such organic chemicals to inhibit both cathodic and anodic corrosion when added in minimal dosage. In fact it retards the process of electrochemical corrosion of reinforcing bars during their entire service lives acting as negative catalyst and controlling process of metal corrosion very effectively. The concrete thus gets protected throughout its designed service life even in corrosive / highly aggressive environments.
Advantage:
- Total protection of concrete against carbonation and chloride induced corrosion in aggressive environments.
- It has no effect on compressive or flexural strength of concrete whether pre-stressed or otherwise. Coastal structures specially in tidal zones can be adequately protected.
- It will not initiate corrosion up to a concentration of 8 kg of chloride ion per cubic meter of concrete.
